Panama country report

Panama Sign Language Interpreter Association (ANPROSIS) works together with the Panama Deaf Association. We have been working since 1983. All the interpreters prior to the current training were trained in another countries.

We have several goals from 2011-2014. We want to evaluate the screening profile examination for the accreditation of sign language interpreters. We also want to create a national technical committee for training of interpeters and to establish a registration body.

Our association has 27 members and 13 people are not members.
